Hi, Iā€™m Lisa J Haskins.

Cultivating a sense of grounding, strength, and heartfelt self-compassion can support us in stepping forward into our lives with a sense of ease and resiliency. We can skillfully cultivate qualities that support our healing through consciously choosing to take gentle compassionate steps towards the life we want to live. Consciously choosing to envision new possibilities for our lives and our well-being.

I incorporate therapeutic yoga tools and techniques to support individuals. This includes gentle yoga movement, breathing techniques, and mindfulness meditation to support self-regulation and balance of the body, mind, and spirit.

My trauma-informed training as an Advanced Teacher of therapeutic yoga through the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga (500 hours). My study of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at the Center of Mindfulness, and wisdom gained from the dark times have guided me for over 10 years.

I am a certified Positive Psychology trainer, have completed foundational training in Trauma Center- Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) and have served as a public-school teacher with students and families from under-served populations for over 20 years.

I guide and facilitate workshops on therapeutic yoga for stress and anxiety regulation and management, boundaries and compassionate assertiveness in communication, and intention setting for life-style balance and self-care.
